Rosanne & Ashley
20th October 2011 - 9:58pm
You might remember Rosanne & Ashley from their engagement shoot; we had a wander around their Hackney neighbourhood, drank coffee and generally hung with the cool kids (I wore my skinny jeans and a pair of Deidre Barlow shades hoping I’d be mistaken for one)… Well, here they are again, all these months later, tying the knot in Rosanne’s home village of Inkpen in Berkshire. What a lucky duck growing up in such a beautiful place and lovely to have such a deep connection with the place where she got married - she was christened in this very church. This was a superb affair; a chocolate box church green nestling in the dramatic rolling hills where three counties meet and then onto the party at the marvellous Combe Manor. Decked with rich tapestries and bags of character it’s easily one of the nicest barns I’ve seen, I became slightly obsessed with it’s tourquise doors and with it’s reds and golds the wedding photography was warm and atmospheric. Psychoanalyist Rosanne and lawyer Ashley are certainly an impressive couple - with PHDs, triathalons as well as two very pretty faces, they are certainly a force to be reckoned with and their wedding was a suitably perfect celebration: poetry, a swing band, a pork pie cake and some mean (and saucy) dancing. Brilliant. Just wish we’d grabbed that umbrella……
